Nat Love[a] (J – Febru) was an American cowboy and writer active in the period following the Civil War. His reported exploits have made him one of the more famous heroes of the Old West. In , Nat Love published his autobiography, The Life and Adventures of Nat Love, Better Known in the Cattle Country as “Deadwood Dick,” a tale that often took on the epic proportions of the many “dime novels” of the time.
