Sir Quentin Saxby Blake (born 16 December ) is an English cartoonist, caricaturist, illustrator and children's writer. He has illustrated over books, including 18 written by Roald Dahl, which are among his most popular works. Quentin Blake was born in the suburbs of London in and has drawn ever since he can remember. He went to Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School, followed by National Service.
