Warhol biography

Warhol founded Interview magazine, produced the play Pork (), and published various books such as The Philosophy of Andy Warhol () and Popism (). He executed several series of paintings—notably Mao (–73) and Last Supper (–86)—and commissioned portraiture. Warhol graduated from Carnegie Institute of Technology (now Carnegie Mellon University) in Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Pictorial Design in and soon after moved to New York City to pursue a career as a commercial artist.
